Fern is looking for calm and gentle home where she can continue to flourish.

Fern experienced very traumatic circumstances prior to coming into care (see below) and has come so far in her rehabilitation and in learning trust. We are so happy to report that she now runs right up to people and will loaf while getting head rubs. Fern really enjoys playing with toys and eating food so that's a fabulous way to connect with her and start to build rapport. Fern loves finding cozy surfaces to lounge on and nothing makes us happier that to see her relaxed and sprawled out. Fern has transformed into such a happy, playful and trusting bunny and she has the happiest binkies to show off!

Toys, lounging on cozy surfaces, treats and greens, head rubs

Chaotic environments, strangers who do not take the time to gain her trust

Fern would be well suited to calm and quiet household without young children.

Additional Notes:

Fern was a dumped bunny that kept hanging out with a ladies chickens while seeking out food and water.

When Fern arrived into care, she would scream if you touched her. Sadly she had never received human socialization so it was an undertaking to help rehabilitate her. When Fern was at the vet for her spay they found out that she had two different types of gun pellets in her which would be the reasoning why she was so fearful of humans.
